first twenty applications received are reviewed by coordinator to determine
eligibility. Subsequent applications are reviewed as space is available
due to non-eligible applicants. Requirements determining eligibility are:
*Must pass all core subjects – State of
*Must have an overall 70 average - State of
*Must be in good attendance (not having more than 5 unexcused absences during any one semester of the previous school year) – Mandated by the State Department to follow board approved school policy
*Must not be a discipline problem – State of
3. Interviews are then scheduled with students to discuss application, determine job preferences according to career objective, and work availability.
