My Bio Info

I grew up in Guntersville AL.  I graduated from Guntersville High School in 1994 and started Auburn University.  I graduated from Auburn March 1999 with a degree in Business Education.  I received my first teaching job at Arab High School (1999).  I soon married Trey Williams a native of Arab and a local banker with Wachovia Bank. While working at Arab I went back to the University of Alabama and received a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership & Administration (2002). After three years of marriage we were blessed with a beautiful little girl Corley Alexander Williams.  Two years and three months later we were blessed again by a beautiful baby boy Curtis Boyd Williams IV (Curt). 

My name is Melanie Elder Williams. I grew up in Guntersville AL.  I am an only child and have two wonderful parents that have been married over 35 years.  Most of my immediate family lives in this area.  I graduated from Guntersville High School in 1994 and started Auburn University.  I pledged Phi Mu sorority while a freshman at AU.   I graduated from Auburn March 1999 with a degree in Business Education.  I received my first teaching job close to home in Arab AL at Arab High School.  I soon married Trey Williams a native of Arab and a local banker with Wachovia Bank. We built a home on his family farm in Summit south of Arab.  While working at Arab I went back to the University of Alabama and received a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership (Administration). After three years of marriage we were blessed with a beautiful little girl Corley Alexander Williams.  Two years and three months later we were blessed again by a beautiful baby boy Curtis Boyd Williams IV (Curt).
